Connecting Your Payment Processor:

To start receiving payment for your ecommerce store products, you'll need to connect a payment provider.

Go to Store > Settings > Payments > Add Payment Provider.

Select which payment processor you want to use. You need to create an account with the payment processor and add the credentials required.

  • Stripe

  • Braintree

  • 2Checkout

  • PayPal

  • Afterpay

  • Mobilpay

  • PayU

  • Paystack

  • Authorize.Net

  • PayFast

  • Klarna

  • Twistpay

  • Mollie

  • Mercado Pago

You also have the option to include Cash on Delivery or Bank Transfer as offline payment methods.

  • Payment on delivery

  • Bank transfer

We used to support Barclays Card but we no longer support that payment method.

Payment on delivery or Bank Transfer

Payment on Delivery and Bank Transfer work very similarly. You can choose one of these options to receive your payments on order delivery or via another payment processor such as Venmo, or LawPay.

After adding Cash on Delivery or Bank Transfer to your payment options, you will be instructed to add:

Button label: This is the label for the button on the checkout. This is the area where they can choose pay by card or pay by cash on delivery or bank transfer. See screenshot below.

Additional info: Displayed on the checkout page when this option is selected. This is the information that will tell them what to expect after they place their order. See screenshot below.

Instructions: This is additional payment instructions after the order is placed. For example: "Thank you for your order, you can Venmo us at @janedoe."

After setting up this payment provider, your checkout experience will look like this:

What payment processor should I choose?

All the payment providers that we provide have different rates and features. What you choose is completely up to you and your businesses needs.

Generally we recommend Stripe as you can activate Apple and Google Pay, making the checkout process easier on the customer which increases conversions. We also recommend connecting both a payment provider such as Stripe and PayPal because again it makes the checkout process easier on the customer and will increase conversions.
